Ping Pong Society Meet the club that wants to make ping pong a lifestyle

It was the 18885 when James Devonshire went to the patent office in London in order to register the license for the “table tennis” game. The game has spread in the previous years in some private clubs of the England capital city, in particular after that a merchant started to call the game in that way, borrowing the term form the most famous tennis. It was born in that way, than, the game that, after a number of changes more or less official, took the name of “ping pong”.

From that day is now passed more than a century, the sport evolved in a more professional form, becoming one of the most beloved Olympic disciplines, but the truly essence of ping pong never changed. That essence is now recalled by Ping Pong Society, a Milan-based ping pong club unique in its genre. The PPS goals is to create a club that could bring together people coming from different artistic field: from fashion to design. A large community that will develop both a tournament and a free play area.

The first event will be host this Sunday at Apollo Club in Milan, during the 02-1212 event. In order to get you in the right mood, we present you this editorial, made in collaboration with Champion, that will also made the kits. Technical parter will be Stiga.
