First of all, Hootkit confirmed that Cristiano is the most followed and most influential athlete in the world, with 260 million followers across Facebook, Twitter and Instagram. In 2016, the Portuguese posted 1703 times on social networks, generating 2,25 billion social interactions, between like, comments, shares, retweets and views on videos. Nike was mentioned - or its logo visible - in 347 of those posts, generating 477 million interactions. Result: according to market analysis by Hookit, Cristiano Ronaldo’s posts generated $499,6m worth in media value for Nike.
