The overturned derby

A goal destined to become legend in the history of English football and in fact, today, six years later, we’re still celebrating that goal. It February 12th, 2011, and Manchester City is forcing united to a 1-1 draw during derby at Old Trafford. At the 78th minute, when the result seems stuck on an assumed draw, Luis Nani crossed the ball towards the area, giving life to one of the most beautiful goals in United, Manchester derbies and English football’s history.

Today, we celebrate six years of Wayne Rooney’s stunning bicycle kick goal, which certainly has a special place in his hearts, among the many other goals he’s scored.
