What went down at FOOTDISTRICT's and adidas' event went in Barcelona Invitation to dinner in the German Pavilion by Mies Van Der Rohe

The German Pavilion by Mies Van Der Rohe, the absolute masterpiece of the iconic industrial designer and architect built in 1929, dismantled and then rebuilt between 1983 and 1986, was the setting chosen by adidas and FOOTDISTRICT to celebrate the entry of the Spanish sneaker and streetwear retailer into the adidas Consortium family, the circuit of adidas boutiques and retailers that are the protagonists of the most exclusive releases of the brand. Inside, the space of the structure was dominated, in addition to the dinner tables and the adidas EQT whose 30th anniversary was celebrated, by the Barcelona chairs always signed by Van Der Rohe together with Lilly Reich – object whose design, just like that of the adidas EQT sneaker, places emphasis on materials to highlight the deepest nature of the product by creating a hyper-minimal and elegantly functional object. A vision encapsulated in the motto of EQT designers Rob Strasser and Peter Moore: «Everything that is essential. Nothing that is not».

Influencers including Hanna Helsø, Kish Kash and Ilaria Grande along with other personalities from the fashion world were invited to the dinner. To find out how the evening went, scroll through the gallery above or watch the video produced for the occasion by FOOTDISTRICT below.
