After European Fashion Weeks, it's time to move to Tokyo, Japan, where the Rakuten Fashion Week kicked off on March 15th and will end on Saturday 20th.

What strikes in Tanase's shots is not only the looks of the protagonists of the Japanese fashion scene but that atmosphere of apparent normality and the almost total absence of masks which, at least for the moment, appears utopian as ever. In any case, the Made in Japan style confirms itself as one of the most interesting and eclectic fashion realities in the world, thanks to a unique mix of inspirations and brands that manages to give shape to a multiform and composite aesthetic. There are punk, preppy, goth, streetwear and pure formalwear influences in a melting pot of visions that gives life to an unparalleled interpretation of fashion.
