The Pescara store The Urban Box from Friday 19 July inaugurated the exhibition "The Urban Toys", which shows the public unique pieces of designer toys made by world-famous artists such as Ron English, Frank Kozik, James Jarvis and KAWS, the street artist symbol of the new pop culture also thanks to collaborations with brands like UNIQLO.

The exhibition, which traces the last 15 years of this movement, is the first in Italy to be completely dedicated to Vinyl Toys, which are sculptures that have common characteristics such as the use of almost always plastic materials and seriality. In some cases, very limited editions have contributed to making these items a real cultural phenomenon, capable of improving the street culture and the world of fashion.

The movement took its first steps towards the end of the 90s in Hong Kong, becoming an international phenomenon starting from the early 2000s when many American exponents of art forms such as LowBrow Art, graphics and scratchy landed in America.

The exhibition will remain open until 19 August. An event not to be missed if you were to pass near Pescara.
