This weekend saw the first ever Italian edition of Sneakerness take place in Milan, the event that stretched over the whole weekend went beyond all expectations with around 10'000 visitors. The first day saw the large industrial halls at Fabbrica Orobia rammed packed with sneakerheads not only from Milan but the whole of Italy, and also hosted quite a few international visitors. Among the many sellers, it was hard not to be blown away by the number of available grails, leaving few without the chance to see their most coveted of sneakers. In between all the shoes, there was a chance to take part in an array of sneaker related activities, among them the Crep Protect cleaning station, the nss meme generator, shoot some hoops at the basketball free throw competition, and customize your own cap at the new era stand, to name just a few.

There was a host of entertaining and informative talks with some of the leading figures within both the Italian and International sneaker community. And as the sun broke through on the second day the outside area bloomed into a sports arena where street tennis and the freestyle football competition took center stage, while onlookers could enjoy a drink and have some tasty barbecue.

It was two days that celebrated sneaker culture in all its glory and we can confidently say we are already looking forward to the next Milan edition. Discover or relive the event through the pictures above.
