David Bowie's emojis are coming

Emojis are increasingly the mirror of our society. It is no coincidence that Apple has decided to dedicate its latest animated faces to David Bowie, the iconic artist who sadly disappeared in January this year.

The next IOS 10.2’s update will include in fact two new emojis depicting a man and a woman with an eye-catching coloured lightning bolt drawn on their face, complete with a microphone. An unmistakable tribute to Aladdin Sane’s cover, the album Bowie released in 1973 which includes the tracks Let's Spend The Night Together and The Jean Genie.
