DRx Romanelli's furniture created with old adidas items

After the announcement a few months ago, adidas has finally raised the curtain on its collaboration with the Los Angeles designer DRx Romanelli for the creation of eight lounge chairs and two sofas using only vintage adidas garments from Round Two, Sean Wotherspoon's store and stuffing them with recycled foam.

The partnership is part of RE: NEW, the initiative dedicated to sustainability launched on CONFIRMED which aims to give a second life to waste through upcycling and challenging the concept of the limited edition. "Today, people are always looking for the exclusivity, the limited edition. These chairs are unique, there will never be others like these", explained DRx Romanelli, describing his project, similar in many respects to the one presented a few months ago by LC23.
