It's official: the new Powerbeats by Apple will soon hit the market.
The new model will be available from March 18th: they will be called just Powerbeats (without any numeric indication) and will come as the substitutes of the Powerbeats 3, which have already disappeared from the official website (while you still can buy the Beats Powerbeats Pro). The new Powerbeats, implemented with the high-technology of the Chip H1 by Apple, come in a new design and three colourways (black, white and red). But the real news is the prize: they will cost 149,95$, 50$ less than the previous version (199,95$).

A few days ago, a photo of a Walmart store in Canada went viral for displaying the new Powerbeats on its shelves before it was due (it was probably a simple storage mistake). Following many speculations, Apple finally unveiled all the specific details about this new fourth generation of Powerbeats, the earbuds that won the hearts of athletes and ordinary people as well.

The new Powerbeats are the first to have the new Apple's H1 wireless chip (the chip made its debut on the AirPods 2 and then with the Beats Powerbeats Pro). The new chip will make possible to communicate with Siri at every time, and it improves the battery for a 15-hour full life against the 12-hours Powerbeats 3, whilst it guarantees a life of 1-hour and a half with just 5 minutes of charge. The charging comes with a normal Lighting cave.

The new Powerbeats look like a valid alternative to the AirPods, mostly considering their affordable price. The only difference is that their two earbuds are connected by a wire.

The new Powerbeats will be available from March 18th, 2020 at the prize of 149,95$. For now, there is no information about their release on the Italian market.
