Banksy's Valentine's Day mural was vandalized

When the people of Bristol woke up on February, 13th, they found an unexpected gift: a new mural by Banksy. The work, which appeared on the wall of a building in Marsh Lane, in the Barton Hill district, depicts a little girl firing a slingshot that, like a modern Cupid, erupts in an explosion of red plastic flowers and leaves. The same mysterious artist confirmed he's behind this piece of art with a post on Instagram. The graffiti has been considered by many as a sort of Valentine's Day card to his hometown and, for this reason, it has been greatly appreciated by his fellow citizens who immediately started taking pictures and posting positive comments on the net.
There is a lot of enthusiasm, people come, admire, take pictures, it's great - said Edwin Simons, the owner of the house that Banksy has given us - The design is incredible and beautiful.
Or so apparently. Because, only a couple of days later, the drawing was covered with the words, written in fluorescent pink paint, BCC Wankers accompanied by a heart. BCC stands for "Blind Carbon Copy", while the term "wankers" means idiots, assholes.
The phrase, so, could be an allegation of plagiarism against Banksy. No one knows who or what the English artist would have copied, but the most probable hypothesis is suggested by the heart. Many have noted a similarity between the Girl-Cupido and the famous Girl with Balloon and the vandal could allude to this 2012 mural.
