Pornhub for the environment with the new video'Dirtiest Porn Ever' How to save the oceans from plastic waste by watching adult videos

Even though it might seem hard to believe, more than the governments, for the future of our planet who is making the difference is a group of teenagers (does the name Greta Thunberg ring a bell?) and a popular adult site. After working to save bees with the project Beesexual and creating Wankband, a wearable technological device that converts the movement of the wrist during masturbation into sustainable energy, Pornhub has decided to help reduce the amount of plastic in the seas.

The new eco-friendly project is entitled Dirtiest Porn Ever, an adult film shot on one of the most polluted beaches in the world. The "plot"? A couple known as Leolulu has sex on a beach surrounded by rubbish, while guys in Pornhub-branded boiler suits clean up, slowly revealing more and more details of the sexual activity. The aim is to demonstrate "how plastic and waste can ruin an otherwise beautiful scene". For each view, the site will make a donation to Ocean Polymers, which has long been committed to finding solutions to the problem of plastic in the oceans.

Corey Price, Vice President of Pornhub, commented on the new campaign created as part of the Pornhub Cares initiative:

To date, we can find around 12.7 million tonnes of plastic in the depths of our oceans. Perhaps even more shocking is that, in just 30 years, scientists predict that there will be more plastic than fish. Ocean pollution has grown to become one of the most significant global issues of our lifetime, and it's only getting worse. That's why it’s imperative that we use our platform to raise awareness and inspire change – not just for the time being but for generations to come. We’re dirty here at Pornhub, but that doesn’t mean our beaches need to be.

Heather Wigglesworth, Executive Director of Ocean Polymers, added about the unusual partnership:

We are all part of the problem and must work together to find solutions. This is a brand with significant global reach spanning all demographics, so it is a very effective platform to raise awareness and support for the crisis we face in our oceans today. It would be great to see more companies of this size and stature taking the same responsibility with the audience they engage.

Alongside the video Dirtiest Porn Ever, Pornhub has created a website that advises its viewers on how to prevent single-use plastic from ending up in the ocean. There are three steps you can take to help: buy as little plastic as possible, recycle all single-use plastics and clean up after enjoying outdoors.
