Q2 is Leica's new compact and full-frame camera Practical, robust and even more advanced

It's 2015 when Leica launches its compact, full-frame mirrorless Q, immediately achieving great success. Now, four years later, the German company is ready to present the evolution of that lucky model, a version updated to the needs of the current market. Thus was born Q2, the latest generation camera designed to be practical, robust and easy to use. The design of the product remains faithful to that of the original model, consisting of a robust and lightweight magnesium alloy body, built to withstand dust and water splashes making the machine suitable for outdoor shots. The thumb support and manual controls for aperture and focus remain unchanged, while overall performance gains significant improvements.

The main feature of Q2 is its new sensor: same full-frame dimensions as before, but an increase of 47.3-megapixel resolution compared to 24 megapixels of the original. Together with it, we must emphasize the presence of an enhanced processor, which allows getting fixed images and 4K video an ISO sensitivity up to 50,000. In addition, the extremely bright Leica Summilux 28 mm f / 1.7 ASPH lens. and the extension of the integrated digital zoom function up to 75 mm ensures optimal and even more flexible image rendering. Other interesting new features include a newly designed high-resolution OLED viewfinder with a 3.68-megapixel resolution. This element offers complete control over the subject at all times, but above all, shots of better quality and higher contrast.
Leica Q2 is one of the fastest cameras in its class thanks to its autofocus system capable of focusing on the subject in less than 0.15 seconds, a detail that, supported by the Maestro II family, allows you to shoot up to 10 frames per second to full resolution of 47.3 MP. Low energy consumption and integrated Wi-Fi module complete the performance of the new Leica product you are selling for a price of around € 4,890.
