'Friends': the best Thanksgiving Day esisodes Featuring: severed pinkies, turkies on the head and Brad Pitt

This Thursday the Americans will spend the day sitting at the table eating turkey, yams and apple pie, celebrating the Thanksgiving Day, as only they can do.
We at nss magazine have decided to spend the day (re)watching some of the best Thanksgiving episodes of one of the most hilarious series of all time, Friends. Between turkies worn on the head, fat Monica and a special appeareance by Brad Pitt, these are the episodes that made us laugh the most.

Ready for the binge watching?

#The One with the Football (Season 3, episode 9)

We all know how competitive Monica can get, but in this episode she outdoes herself, and takes her rivalry with her brother Ross to a whole new level. The football match arranged while the turkey is in the oven turns into a real battle of the sexes, with an absolute wooden Rachel who touches the ball only one, crucial, time.

#The One with Chandler in a Box (Season 4, episode 8)

While Joey tries to sell the closet he built and gets locked up in it, Chandler kisses the girlfriend of his best friend. Chananendler Bong (this is for pro Friends fans) tries to earn Joey's forgiveness by lying in a wooden box for six hours, thinking about his mistakes.

#The One with all the Thanksgivings (Season 5, episode 8)

Probably the best Thanksgiving episode of all the ten seasons of the series. The guys spend the afternoon recounting their past and worst Thanksgiving Days, but the story of Monica steals the show: back in high school, she sought for revenge on Chandler (in that Miami Vice style), who called her fat, and she accidentally cuts his toe off. The happy ending wearing the turkey on the head has now become a Tv classic.

#The One Where Ross Got High (Season 6, episode 9)

With Monica and Ross's parents guests for dinner, the Geller siblings decide to spill the beans on all their respective secrets, like the time Ross was caught smoking pot and blamed Chandler for having brought drugs into his life. A very careless Rachel tries to prepare a trifle, with a special addition: meat and peas. Joey and Ross can hardly maintain a straight face while tasting the dish (take a look at this).

#The One with the Rumor (Season 8, episode 9)

With an impressive entrance (just look at Phoebe's face) enters the guest star of the episode, Brad Pitt, at the time Jennifer Aniston's husband. It turns out that back in high school he and Ross had founded a 'I hate Rachel' club, starting quite unedifying rumors on her.

#The One with Rachel's Other Sister (Season 9, episode 8)

Rachel's other sister, Amy, stops by to spend the Thanksgiving with her (after having been dumped by her boyfriend, who's married) and very soon the tension between the sisters gets physical. Monica's only concern is her china, which she had been saving for a visit of the Queen of England.
