Berlin against the far-right march of the German political party AfD Appointment Sunday, May 27th in the central district of Mitte

Berlin. Sunday 27th May in the district of Mitte, the collective Reclaim Club Culture will bring together dozens of clubs and thousands of members of the nightlife community to protest against a march, from the German political party Alternative für Deutschland (AfD), which could attract more than 10,000 people from all over Germany, transforming the event into one of the largest extreme right rallies in recent years.

As has already happened, though with some differences in Tbilisi, following the brutal raids by the armed police in the clubs Bassiani and Café Gallery, once again the call to the resistance against the increasingly worrisome and dangerous expansion of radical policies of the extreme right comes from the rave scene.

The Berlin club culture is "progressive, queer, feminist, anti-racist, inclusive, colorful and has [n] unicorns", write the organizers of the protest on Facebook; while an anonymous person told Resident Advisor:

"We are not willing to tolerate the continuous pressure from the far right against simply everything the Berlin club scene is representing. So we invite everyone to crash their march on May 27 with a musical demonstration."
