The new Venezia jersey by Kappa for the 2022/23 season

In a mix of modernity and tradition the lagunari are ready to surprise again

The new Venezia jersey by Kappa for the 2022/23 season In a mix of modernity and tradition the lagunari are ready to surprise again

After surprising fans, enthusiasts and insiders last year with four highly successful jerseys, today Venezia and Kappa presented the new kit for next season. A jersey that takes inspiration from the 1990s, a mix of tradition and modernity, following one of the most current trends of the year that sees the return of the collar on the pitch. An element that had been lost over the years and that returns as a protagonist in a jersey that is already a candidate to be one of the best of the season. The lagunari compared to last year, again together with the Italian brand, will take the field with a black jersey accompanied by thin orange and green lines crossing the sleeves and the collar and with the new logo, presented a few days ago, completely in gold.

Designing the new jerseys was the same studio that was responsible for rethinking the logo, Bureau Borsche. The German studio, which has also collaborated with Balenciaga and Supreme in the past, fished out some of the most frequent and recurring details of vintage jerseys for Venezia, resulting in a simple but elegant kit that stands out for its gothic soul, made by Kappa. The long-sleeved jersey, shot among the beautiful and unique canals of the lagoon city, on the other hand signals a welcome return of a template that recalls past eras of Italian football and is always a favorite among collectors and fans for its versatility away from the field.
