Magazine X added to Slam Jam Archive A collective work of art that imprints the power of visual art on paper

There is a new addition to the cultural universe promoted by Slam Jam: X, an annual magazine focused on art, visual culture and literary experimentation launched by Nationhood. An unnamed magazine, a "transparent tunic made only of what it contains", as well as a collective work of art in editorial form that imprints the power of visual art on paper, a cultural product that fits perfectly into the subversive world that Slam Jam sees itself as and the avant-garde investigative projects it likes to subsidise.

X, part of a broad research programme under the aegis of Slam Jam Archive and its cultural activities, was launched by Nationhood, a multidisciplinary studio founded by Achille Filipponi and Matteo Milaneschi with the aim of generating new codes and languages in the field of cultural communication by collaborating with international brands and cultural organisations. Its activities range from the creation of magazines and editorial series to the creative direction of digital projects and curatorial work.

The party to celebrate the launch of X will be held on 29 April at Via Privata Passo Pordoi 6 with live performances by Duma and DJ Die Soon.
