Monika Grubizna

As a polish citizen currently residing in the US and constantly moving from place to place, Home is a place where you feel loved and respected.

That's it.

Monika is a tireless illustrator who creates bold and spirited pictures inspired by the Polish poster design legacy and Naïve art. She enjoys thinking outside the box and going for conceptually "smart" rather than only visually "pretty" solutions.

She's originally from Poland, where she received an MA in Graphic Art and Design. Some time ago, in search of new adventures, she flew across the pond to the US and spent three amazing years living and working in Boston. Now she's based in Glasgow, Scotland. Her work has already received recognition from the Society of Illustrators NYC, American Illustration, Hiii Illustration, 3x3 Professional and Picture Book Shows and was presented in many international shows including Pictoplasma Berlin, Seoul International Book Fair and Pick Me Up London, among others.
