On the Italian night between Thursday and Friday Travis Scott first announced and then released "JACKBOYS", the first compilation of his Cactus Jack label. For some months now Travis Scott had declared that he was ready to give new music to his fans: «I mean, shit, I'm in no rush frankly but I'm taking my time to come up with the next album. But I'm always down to drop music and serve some packs to the fans. It's time for the fans to eat", he said in an interview with Zane Lowe.

In the seven tracks that make up "JACKBOYS" there are several featuring, among which those of Rosalia and Lil Baby stand out in the remix of "Highest in the room". Quavo, Offset, Don Toliver, Young Thung, Sheck Wes and Pop Smoke are the other artists involved in a project that promises to become a small cult for fans of the Houston rapper.

The status reached by Travis Scott in fact, allows him to be able to continue to experiment with new forms of transmission of his music and his aesthetics in general. In fact, a seven-track product goes in sharp contrast to the infinite length of "Astroworld", which represented an entire world that Travis had managed to create. "JACKBOYS", on the other hand, looks more like Kanye's new works - which just released "Jesus is Born" together with the Sunday Service Choir - and the general trend of the industry to reduce the album length.

Like any Travis Scott's work for some time, the aesthetics of "JACKBOYS" were then taken care of down to the smallest detail. The cover was created by Harmony Korine, the cult director and screenwriter who recently also edited Gucci's campaign. Together with the compilation - which will also be released on vinyl - Travis Scott also produced the merch which includes hoodie, t-shirt, long-sleeve and beanie, as well as a customized 1988 BMW E30 M3 (the same as on the cover) that will be put on auction.
