The music world says goodbye to the young rapper XXXTentaction Killed yesterday in Florida

The young American rapper Jahseh Dwayne Onofroy, better known as XXXTentaction, was murdered yesterday in broad daylight in Deerfield Beach, north of Miami.

According to the TMZ website, a phone call was made to the police in the afternoon to report that two hooded suspects had stolen a Louis Vuitton bag from the rapper's vehicle. The victim had left a motorcycle shop around four in the afternoon when he was approached by two armed men. At least one of the suspects shot and hit Onfroy, and the two escaped on a dark SUV. The rapper was transported in desperate conditions to the nearby hospital, where he was later declared dead by the Broward County Sheriff. The crime scene suggests it was a robbery ended deadly, but the police is following all leads.

Jahseh was planning a charity event for the weekend in Florida and a few hours before being shot he had done an Instagram live where he talked about his life and his future. Interesting the passage in which he spoke about death:

"If I have to die or be sacrificed I want to be sure that my life has made at least five million children happy, or that they have found some answer or solution in my life".

The rapper, despite his complicated personal life (he was waiting for a trial for violence on his pregnant then-girlfriend, strangulation, kidnapping and witness corruption) was one of the leading members of the rap scene at only 20 years old. With only two albums he had managed to create great interest among both his fans and colleagues, especially for the difficult topics he treated, such as depression, suicide and loneliness. Everyone is paying homage to XXXTentaction, from Kanye West and Diplo to Gucci Mane.
