Die Antwoord are back and with lot of news

The African duo Die Antwoord, composed by Watkinn Tudor Jones aka Ninja and Anri Du Toit aka Yolandi Visser, is back. They just dropped the visual of their song Alien, included in their 2016 album Mount Ninji And Da Nice Time Kid.

The group is famous for its creepy, weird but fascinating videos and Alien is not far behind.The clip is directed by Ninja, who makes a brief appearance, and follows Yolandi who plays an alien wandering through a desolate Detroit. We won’t reveal anything else, but the real star of the video is the duo’s daughter Sixteen Jones, who has already appeared in the visual of the song I Fink U Freeky. The song is slow and angelic and explores moments of solitude.

After the release of the video, Die Antwoord announced via Twitter the drop of their new album 27, which will also be their last... The title, 27, is also the number of tracks it will contain: initially they will release 10 songs accompanied by a feature film, then the remaining 17. The album will feature collaborations with the favourite artists of the duo.
