Gift Guide: Music Tell me what music you listen to and I’ll tell you which special collection to buy

Few things define the personality of someone like the music he loves.

So when you are less than a few days away from Christmas and still have no idea what to give to friends and relatives, why not take inspiration from their musical tastes?

Depending on whether they prefer pop icons like Cher and Beyoncé, hip hop stars like Eminem and A$AP Rocky or cult rock bands like The Cure and R.E.M., nss suggests you the perfect gift to buy.

Read carefully our Christmas list and train yourself to click “Buy” because many of the coolest items are available online.

Beyoncé Christmas Collection

Bey repeats the success of last year and this December offers its fans a selection of Christmas-themed merch.

The choice is wide among pullovers, hooded sweatshirts, t-shirts, pajamas, but also iPhone covers, mugs and decorations. All objects made special by the image of the pop star or unmissable phrases, such as “Sis The Season” and the incredible “Have A Thicc Holiday”.

The capsule collection prices, available at the official web store, are around $ 35 for T-shirts and $ 60 for pullovers.

Noah x The Cure Capsule Collection

"The Cure is my all-time-favorite band and we are extremely excited to have had the opportunity to collaborate with Robert and the band." - says Brendon Babenzien, founder and creative director of Noah, announcing the special project with the musicians - "The funny thing about The Cure is they have always had amazing graphics and art and did a lot with them. Usually we have to take things and make them more interesting; with The Cure, we simplified the ideas, which in contrast to what they have done traditionally, looks new".

Presented at the end of November, the collection consists of 12 elements with the band's logo or images taken from some of their best covers and includes a “Boys Do not Cry” leather biker jacket, a “Disintegration” sweatshirt and a polka dot shirt, a reference to Robert Smith’s sartorial choices over the years. Each piece is available at the Noah Flagship Store in New York and Tokyo, at Dover Street Market London and in Italy exclusively at Slam Jam Milano.

Daft Punk Christmas Merch

Like Beyoncé, even the official Daft Punk webstore launches a selection of pieces dedicated to Christmas for these holidays.

Among the many new themed gadgets there are helmet-shaped baubles for the tree, snow globe, puzzles, yo-yos, belt buckles, pins, varsity jackets, t-shirts, sweatshirts and promotional posters that reflect the style of vintage magazines.

Merch prices range from $ 18 for a pin set to $ 780 for a jacket, but also from Maxfield to Los Angeles.

Arcade Fire Everything Now Employee Welcome Kit

It’s called “Everything Now Employee Welcome Kit” the proposal, perfect as a gift to their fans, launched by Arcade Fire.

This is a package of office supplies that includes, among other things, “Relax Now” green tea, coffee mugs, holiday cards, notebooks and even an anti-stress ball.

Find the kit online for € 47.

One more reason to buy it? The proceeds from sales go to the KANPE Foundation (a non-profit organization focused on strengthening the infrastructure of the Haitian communities).

A$AP Rocky Ginger Bread Mob

Looking at A$AP Rocky or listening to his songs, have you ever thought that one day they would teach you how to bake cookies?

If the answer is no, now you will have to change your mind because the artist has lent his name and his image for a kit to cook the typical Christmas gingerbread. In the box you will find everything you need: mixture for cookies, icing, candy beads and a cookie cutter.

All $11 of the kit will go to the Always Strive & Prosper Foundation that deals with prevention and information on drug abuse.

Cher Holiday Merch

Who is the most divine of pop stars in the history of music?

For Kim Kardashian, and many others, the answer is Cher.

So if Beyoncé makes a special selection of merch for the Christmas holidays, why should not even the iconic artist do it?

Thus was born a capsule collection of tees, sweatshirts and bags with the image of Cher in leather pants (taken six years ago by her friend, the co-founder of Chrome Hearts Laurie Stark) or with a close-up of her and the ironic phrase “Ho, Ho, Ho, Bitches”.

Find everything on www.cherstore.com.

Fun fact: do you know what is your favorite Christmas tradition by singer-actress? Hang the stockings of children Chaz and Elijah, needlepointed by the same artist during the production of the film “Silkwood”.

Carhartt x Eminem: 15-Year “8 Mile” Anniversary

On the occasion of the 15th anniversary of the cult film “8 Mile”, Eminem and Carhartt return to join forces.

The result is a limited edition collection of clothing items such as beanie and jackets, available in the Detroit brand store, the birthplace of the American artist, but also through the Shady Records website.

The proceeds will go to the Marshall Mathers Foundation for the Verses Project: Exploring Literacy through Lyrics and Song, the rapper’s charitable program, which comes from the collaboration with Michigan State University School of Music.

Stance Michael Jackson “Thriller” pack

Stance Socks, a brand famous for the original prints of its products, launched some time ago a collection inspired by the famous Michael Jackson video “Thriller”.

Although originally created for Halloween, the pack is perfect as a Christmas present for the many fans of the pop star.

These are three socks: one with Jackson dressed in red, one in a zombie version and the last in a werewolf version.

You can buy the whole box set directly on the Stance Socks website for $ 55.

R.E.M. and Paul Smith: “Automatic for the People” Collection

It’s been 25 years since the release of “Automatic for the People”, a historical album by R.E.M. containing hits like “Everybody Hurts” and “Man on the moon”.

To celebrate this record, which has become a true milestone of 90s music, with over 18 million copies sold worldwide, the American rock band has decided to collaborate with Paul Smith and create a capsule collection.

The bright colors typical of the designer mix with the image of the cover of “Automatic for the People”, with the words of his songs and the group's photos taken by Anton Corbijn, making special scarves, silk pocket handkerchiefs, canvas bags, graphic t-shirts and posters.

The collection is available in the main Paul Smith stores and on the brand’s ecommerce portal.

The Weeknd x Puma XO Collection

Do you like the style of The Weeknd?

Well, then the collection created by the artist with Puma is for you.

It is a series of urban leaders, sneakers and caps included, with military details, deluxe and patchwork denim reflecting the outfits worn by the star.
