5 things to do in Naples (and surroundings) this weekend From 20 to 22 June

At 4:42 AM on Saturday morning, summer will officially begin, even though in Naples the heat has already been here for a while. Luckily, between the sea, food, and events, the Neapolitan city never disappoints. There is literally something for everyone: from tourists ready to live like true Neapolitans, to the children of Vesuvius who are constantly scrolling through their Instagram feeds searching for inspiration on what to do in the coming days.

So, here are 5 things to do this weekend in Naples (and surroundings), from June 20 to 22.

To Discover - The Taste of Slow Life

For those who don’t know yet, this weekend Lavazza has decided to brighten up both Saturday and Sunday. There isn’t a person in Naples who, upon waking up, doesn’t crave the famous "tazzulella 'e cafè", but often, whether due to work or university, we end up drinking it in a rush, without savoring the true taste of coffee. That’s why Lavazza invites us to discover "Il Gusto della Vita Lenta" with its new project, scheduled for June 21 and 22 at the prestigious Cortile delle Carrozze of Palazzo Reale. Between embroidery mini-courses, ceramic painting, and classic card games, the installation aims to rediscover Neapolitan rituals and traditions. An opportunity to experience Naples differently, savoring its authenticity and the pleasure of slowness, accompanied by Lavazza Crema&Gusto coffee. On Saturday 21, furthermore, actor Giuseppe Pirozzi and rapper Rocco Hunt, respectively at 11 AM and 5 PM, will enrich the event: the first with an intimate and convivial slow breakfast, the second with an exclusive acoustic performance.

To Eat - Spazi Volta

In the beating heart of the Neapolitan nightlife, just steps from Teatro Bellini, there is Spazi Volta, the perfect mix of contemporary art, food and signature cocktails. The music is always present, people are always friendly, and the food strikes the right balance between tradition and innovation. Whether for breakfast, brunch, an aperitif, or a Saturday night drink, Spazi Volta is always the right choice.

To Chill - Antico Bagno Conca delle Sirene

Anyone visiting Naples cannot, even for just one day, miss going to the coastline. If Neapolitans themselves cannot do without it, foreigners are almost obliged to relax in what are (perhaps) the most beautiful waters of the Tyrehenian Sea. Especially for those who don’t like sand, Antico Bagno Conca delle Sirene in Vico Equense is the perfect place to unwind "n’facc o’ Vesuvio". With platforms overlooking the sea, a fully equipped bar-restaurant, and a small separate beach area for families, Conca delle Sirene is THE beach spot of this summer. Open every day from 9:30 AM to 6:30 PM.

To Shop - POP21 Vintage store

If you pass through the historic center, whether for a walk or a sfogliatella” break, a mandatory stop for shopping is POP21, a vintage store on Via Mezzocannone. Extremely well-stocked and varied, in this shop you can find pretty much everything: from Miu Miu bags to Missoni scarves, and for those who prefer a more underground look, the selection of leather jackets is endless.

To Party - Club Venus X Arsenyco, yourBaaci

No one expected it, yet it happened and you can’t miss it. On the occasion of pride, in the month of free love, at Terrazza Paradiso, Sunday, June 22 from 8 PM to 1 AM, there will be the craziest collaboration you can imagine. Photographer Luca Cacciapuoti, aka Arsenyco, will bring to life vol.8 of the yourBaaci series with a DJ SET by Club Venus in the background. An evening full of kisses, photos, drinks, music, and lots of love. Entry is free, all that’s left is to go and have fun.
