Gosha Rubchinskiy's first fragrance is the essence of youth

After the launch of his new brand in collaboration with friend and skater Tolia Titaev, PACCBET, Gosha Rubchinskiy released today the first images of his first, innovative fragrance.

The scent, developed by the French perfumer Alexis Dadier, is dedicated to the young people who animate the Muscovite skate scene and is inspired by the smell of Summer, concrete, wood, and the rubber of the wheels on the street.

As happened for other special projects of the designer, the fragrance will be accompanied by a collectible volume – Perfume Book – available in a limited edition of 1,000 copies and sold separately.

Not being an expert in the perfume field, Rubchinskiy told WWD he asked skater friends and Adrian Joffe (Comme des Garçons’ CEO) for advice to reach the final version of the fragrance, chosen after more than 12 attempts.

Among the predominant notes of the scent – intentionally unisex – we find angelica root, mandarine seed, blue chamomile, patchouli and vetiver.

The Gosha Rubchinskiy perfume is produced by Comme des Garçons, will be launched during Frieze Art Fair and will be available from October 8 at Dover Street Market in London and Comme des Garçons Trading Museum in Paris.
