NikeLab x Stone Island launch the new Windrunner

Nike and Stone Island, two authentic milestones within the streetwear world, joined forces once again in order to provide us with a brand new version of the legendary Windrunner jacket.

Born in 1979 as a functional and groundbreaking item that could meet the runners’ needs and repair them from bad weather without influencing their freedom of movement, the Windrunner gained very early that fame which consecrated it as a real emblem of Nike's world and still remains a current item that managed to reinvent itself over the years.

Credit for this success also goes to the collaboration NikeLab x Stone Island, started in 2015. Working with a brand as Stone Island, whose main strength has always been the expertise in processing materials and the innovation in working different fabrics, has been a pivotal step in Nike’s Windrunner evolution. And today, we can finally look at the new collection, through a series of bright images where clashing colours and freshness seem to be the key.

The jacket, available in several colors, and will be previewed today, at NikeLab’s new store opening in Via Statuto 18 in Milan. Starting from tomorrow, September 8, it will be available to buy on Nike’s website and NikeLab's selected stores.
