La Triennale di Milano dedicates an exhibition to Antonio Marras From Oct. 22, 2016, until Jan. 21, 2017

The Triennale di Milano dedicates an exhibition to Antonio Marras, the visionary Italian designer with a past as a creative director for Kenzo. Inside of the Triennale Design Museum’s spaces you will not find exposed his most spectacular dresses, but a collection of artistic works which highlight his expressive eclecticism and contamination of languages.

The exhibition, curated by Francesca Alfano Miglietti, explores his poetic universe – which has always been inextricably linked to his homeland, Sardinia – and will include some works Marras produced along with artists Carol Rama and Maria Lai.

"Art is a passion for me, and as such should be cultivated. I dedicate to it as much time as I can. If an exhibition, a performance or a show interests me, I would do anything in order not to miss them" said the designer in 2010, "For anyone doing my job art is a powerful spring and a great source of inspiration, and I'm always hungry for images and suggestions". This exhibition is undoubtedly the opportunity he was waiting for.

Antonio Marras - Nulla dies sine linea will be on display from October 22nd, 2016, until January 21st, 2017 at La Triennale di Milano, Viale Alemagna 6.
