Gucci unveils the images of its AW15 campaign starring both boys and girls in a 70s background

We understood that Alessandro Michele was going to revolutionize the image of Gucci since its very first show in January 2015, when the Roman designer started to show his brilliant personality to the world.

The images of the AW15 campaign of the brand confirm this dramatic change: say goodbye the glossy backgrounds cherished by Tom Ford and Frida Giannini, Alessandro Michele take us in anonyms and sometimes desolated urban contexts, that you could easily define “normal”. This kind of context where we could all happen to find ourselves everyday while walking down the streets of our cities: the underground, the bus, the pedestrian crossings. These images redefine the concept of luxury and highlight the contrast between high fashion and everyday life sceneries.

But the change doesn’t stop here: the campaign unite in the same shots both the women and the men’s collections of the brand, following up the runway tendency to make both boys and girls walk together, sharing the same wardrobe.

Alessandro represents this dose of innovation which aligned Gucci with the modern fashion panorama, and we hope he will still make his voice heard for a long time still.
