Invicta turns 120 with a new temporary store in Milan From archive models to new collections, the brand celebrates its heritage at Corso Garibaldi 73

Some objects manage to transcend their original purpose and become part of a broader cultural imagination. For Invicta, 2026 marks an important milestone: the brand turns 120, and it is celebrating by bringing back to the fore the models that, over time, have helped define its identity.
Invicta's story begins in 1906 in England and continues in Turin from 1921, when the brand built its identity around the outdoor world, explorers and mountaineering. From there, over the decades, the Invicta backpack shifted context and became increasingly an everyday object, capable of crossing different eras, styles and generations. Models such as Jolly and Minisac are part of this story and today make their return within the Heritage Collection.
The anniversary also coincides with the opening of Invicta's first temporary store in Milan, at Corso Garibaldi 73, open until May 2027. The space brings together archive models and the brand's most recent offerings, from the Heritage Collection to the Icon Collection — which also introduces Velba, Wasar and Freeway — alongside an apparel selection.
The store has been designed with a fairly straightforward approach: light surfaces, neutral tones and a pared-back environment that lets the colours of the backpacks do the talking. The idea is to hold together two sides of the brand — the one rooted in memory and the more contemporary one — without turning heritage into something merely nostalgic.
