
ACT N°1, Institution, and Materia are the winners of the 2026 CNMI Fashion Trust Grant The Camera Moda Fashion Trust initiative to promote emerging design talent

Camera Moda Fashion Trust has announced the beneficiaries of the sixth edition of the CNMI Fashion Trust Grant, held on Thursday, May 28. An initiative dedicated to independent Made in Italy brands that, through this program, are able to access financial support and a business mentoring pathway, including one-to-one tutoring, offered by the prestigious Trust network. Applications for participation in the project were launched by Camera Moda Fashion Trust on its website last February and, among approximately 80 applications, a technical committee selected 11 finalists: ACT N°1, Andrea Brocca, Des Phemmes, Domenico Orefice, Grossi, Institution, Lutchmiah, Materia, Pecoranera, Unknown Artisan, Untitled Artworks.
The finalists presented their collections and showcased their proposed use of the grants to the evaluation committee, which selected three brands that, starting from June 2026, will benefit from a targeted support program aimed at developing their labels. Creativity, strategic vision and attention to sustainability were among the main criteria applied during the selection process and, in this edition, the three grants worth €70,000.00 were awarded to ACT N°1, Institution and Materia, which will have the opportunity to access a series of strategic consultations provided by experts from the Italian fashion system.
For this edition, the international committee responsible for selecting the finalists of the CNMI Fashion Trust Grant 2026 was composed of industry experts, including renowned figures from the fashion system such as Marco Bizzarri (Entrepreneur), Carlo Capasa (Chairman of Camera Moda Fashion Trust), Walter d’Aprile (CEO & Co-Founder of NSS Magazine), Anna Dello Russo (Creative Consultant and Former Fashion Editor for Vogue Japan), Sabato De Sarno (Creative Director), Emanuele Farneti (Editor-in-Chief of D Repubblica), Suzy Menkes (Leading Fashion Authority), Sara Sozzani Maino (Creative Director, Fondazione Sozzani & Advisory Board Member, Camera Moda Fashion Trust) and Ramona Tabita (Fashion Stylist & Consultant). The CNMI Fashion Trust Grant 2026 was created with the support of the Italian Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation and ICE Agency, under the patronage of Regione Lombardia and the Municipality of Milan, alongside the support of Patron Style Capital SGR and Rosewood Rome.
Within this context, the CNMI Fashion Trust Grant 2026 once again confirms itself as a unique opportunity for young designers to transform their passion and dedication into a tangible reality and, to quote Carlo Capasa: «Supporting young designers today means making room for the future of Italian fashion.
