Here’s what went down at the Kering Eyewear and Maison Valentino event for the SS26 collection A spectacular New York evening
Kering Eyewear and Maison Valentino land in New York for the debut of the SS26 eyewear collection. On March 25, within the ultra-contemporary spaces of The Shed, over 900 guests, including insiders, creatives, and figures from the scene, gathered to celebrate the first release born from their collaboration.
Far from the classic static format, the event unfolded as an immersive playground, composed of installations, saturated colors, and continuous visual stimuli. The new eyewear designs, defined by bold silhouettes, geometric shapes, and metal frames embellished with Valentino’s codes, seamlessly integrated into the narrative, offering guests the opportunity to discover and try them on. Each activation was conceived to engage and invite play, transforming every corner into a moment to be captured.
Closing the circle, a DJ set by Mark Ronson turned the venue into a spectacular dancefloor late into the night. The result is an event that does not simply present a collection, but builds around it a shared and immediate aesthetic, reflecting the spirit of the contemporary fashion system.
