Durante la Prima Guerra Mondiale lo indossavano i piloti americani, negli anni ’80 Tom Cruise lo sfoggiava in Top Gun, poi gli skinhead, oggi è di nuovo un must have: il bomber. Così nel 2013 Amrit Kumat e Mriga Kapadiva, fondatori del marchio Norblack Norwhite, dedicano a questo iconico giubbotto un’intera capsule collection: “Bomb bombers”.

E’ una linea composta da bombers realizzati in seta, tinta a mano da una famiglia di artigiani indiani. I capi sono reversibili, coloratissimi, sgargianti, stampati o a tinta unita, comunque cool. “Designs through adventure” è il motto di Norblack Norwhite, label con radici in India ed in Canada, attenta alle tecniche con cui vengono lavorati i tessuti ed al rispetto delle tradizioni indiane. Il suo merito? Saper coniugare lo streetstyle con le proprie origini.

The clothes are reversible, colorful, bright, printed or plain colored, they are always cool. “Designs through adventure” is the motto of Norblack Norwhite, label with roots in India and in Canada, careful about the techniques by which tissues are processed and about the respect of Indian traditions. Its merit? Knowing how to combine the streetstyle with their origins.
