With the holiday season approaching, the Afro Fashion Association is thrilled to announce its collaboration with Fondazione Sozzani to present a unique event in Milan from December 14th to 20th: the "Afro Fashion Special Sales." This dynamic seven-day event, orchestrated by a Black-led, volunteer-based non-profit organization dedicated to celebrating fashion and culture, is a must-attend affair. At the heart of this event lies the spotlight on ten emerging multicultural designers, offering them a platform to showcase their creations. The focus is to cultivate direct engagement between creators and customers, fostering an intimate and exclusive experience. Moreover, this event serves as a launchpad for these talented designers, opening doors to potential exposure within Milanese showrooms. While the main highlight remains the daily sales commencing on the 14th, the week-long event promises an array of captivating activities.

Attendees can become a part of a styling challenge, engaging talks, workshops, and networking sessions. These curated activities are thoughtfully designed to ignite discussions and explore the vast possibilities within the realms of both local and international contemporary fashion landscapes. Among the lineup of featured designers are names that span diverse cultural backgrounds including: Turkish fashion designer Kuun Studio, Indian bag designer Akinna,  Turkish leather-goods brand Seen, Cameroonian fashion designer Laba Douala, Nigerian fashion designer Joy Meribe, Cameroonian wax fashion brand Maison Alpine Demanou, Mexican ready-to-wear designer Neither Herbert Ruiz Pillajo, Ghanaian fashion designer Victor Hart, shoe designer Karim Daoudi, and American bag brand Fatra by Akilah Stewart.
