Lievito is the new film by Cyop&Kaf, iconic street artists from Naples. «The fragment of a path of observation and reflection begun more than twenty years ago»

Cyop&Kaf, the two masters of street art in Naples, have announced their new documentary, Lievito, an investigation into the relationship between teachers and students through the stories of Bruno Leone, a master of guarattelle, and Peppe Carini, a childhood teacher. The film, produced by Parallelo 41 in collaboration with Rai Cinema, reflects on the relationship between adolescents, their teachers and the implementation of different artistic disciplines or physical activities, opening up glimpses into the lives of young people who learn to live more on the streets than on their school desks.

Lievito, which made its official debut at the thirty-ninth edition of the Turin Film Festival, will be presented for three days at the Beltrade cinema in Milan, starting on March 22, in the presence of the authors together with Paolo Bellati, educator and activist, with two replicas on Thursday and Friday. The two artists explained the importance of the film for them as follows:

«Lievito is the fragment of a journey of observation and reflection that began more than twenty years ago. What it shows - the relationship between adults and adolescents in the intermediate space that grows between the street, the family and the school - is at the heart of our poetics».
