The Yeezy and Balenciaga long sleeve dedicated to DMX

The Yeezy and Balenciaga long sleeve dedicated to DMX Designed to raise money for the late rapper's family

On the occasion of the memorial service dedicated to DMX, Yeezy and Balenciaga created a long sleeve in memory of the rapper who died on April 9 due to a heart attack caused by an overdose.

Born from an idea of the Kanye West label with a Balenciaga design, on the sleeves there are the dates of birth and death of the rapper, while on the front and back we find a photo of Earl Simmons and the commemorative writing "In loving memory". In addition to the oversize fit, the long sleeve closely resembles the style of vintage sweaters both in the graphics and in the treatment. Sold for $200, a million dollars were raised from sales of the long sleeve and donated to Simmons' family.

During the memorial service Celebration of Life, many personalities from the American rap scene intervened, from Nas to Busta Rhymes, up to Jay-Z and Kanye West, performing live together with the Sunday Service Choir on a stage created by West himself together with his team.
