To relaunch his iconic Shirt, Fred Perry has chosen out of the ordinary testimonials such as Gorillaz. The virtual band founded in 1998 by musician Damon Albarn and artist Jamie Hewlett perfectly embodies the values of the English brand, from critical and independent thinking to the status of symbols of distinction and non-conformism.

"My first Fred Perry Shirt wasn't actually mine, it belonged to Arthur Ashe," said band drummer Russel Hobbs. "Arthur was a cross between Barack Obama and Denzel Washington. He was an artist and he had style. He wore afro hair, a pair of shorts and of course the classic Fred Perry tennis polo. He also made a record called How To Play Tennis". In the campaign, the four members of the band wear as many variations of the Fred Perry Shirt, combining digital and real for a campaign that brings together two symbols of the British world.

The Fred Perry Shirts M3 and M12 are available in select retailers, online and in Fred Perry stores.
