Gucci, Prada and Armani will open their headquarters offices to start an internal vaccination campaign dedicated to their employees. As soon as the authorization of the health institutions arrives, the more than 6000 employees that Gucci has on Italian territory (both in the administrative sector and in retail and factories) will in fact be vaccinated in the spaces made available by the brand. The same applies to the more than 3000 employees of Giorgio Armani, who will be vaccinated on a voluntary basis in the Milan spaces of the Armani/Teatro designed by Tadao Ando and the 4000 of Prada that will be divided between the 3000 headquarters in Tuscany and 1000 in Milan.

The vaccination campaign in Italy has been slow in recent months and the decision of the CEOs of the three brands to start internal vaccinations is also due to the desire to speed up health operations. In this regard, Patrizio Bertelli, CEO of Prada, spoke of «lighten the weight of the health system».

Similar campaigns have also been launched by Brunello Cucinelli, OVS and Benetton. In the future, the brands of the Kering Group will start similar operations, given the availability of its Italian venues for the rollout of the vaccination campaign. Marco Bizzarri, CEO of Gucci, said:

The pandemic has put us in front of unexpected challenges. Right from the start, we put people at the center and took steps to protect the community in which we operate: our employees, suppliers and offered support to healthcare professionals and the most vulnerable communities. As we accelerate the vaccination campaign, our commitment to the country where Gucci was born grows: Italy. We will proudly make our locations available for the vaccination campaign.
