After their first collaboration presented on the occasion of last fashion week, the Florentine Federico Curradi and the hat-maker of hollywood stars, Nick Fouquet, presented their first capsule collection of womanswear. The windows of MODES, the boutique of Piazza Risorgimento in Milan, are the space chosen by the two to present their creations, through an installation-display, where oval heads and ceramic wigs with vaguely retro charm remain suspended with the garments on display together with the artistic boxes and decorated with collages that make up the packaging of the collection.

The capsule that the two designers have created for Modes is composed of shirts with white on white embroidery or with prints of natural pigments from real flowers and leaves; cotton pyjama trousers and, inevitable in the designer's imagination, knitwear: striped tops, shorts and cardigans with tie-dye shades. All garments are handmade in curradi's Florentine atelier and embellished with silver buttons bathed in gold. A final accent is given by the hats of Nick Fouquet, whose beaver was dyed in the atelier with fennel, acorns and red cabbage. The project is completed in a series of handmade boxes, whose graphic artwork blends the faces of 16 super muses – from Alda Merini to Michelle Obama to Meryl Streep – in a photo collage with parts of animals – from Alda Merini to Michelle Obama to Meryl Streep – to say that, we are all assessable beyond appearance, the exceptional personality is certainly not given by physical characteristics.

The first women's capsule by Federico Curradi and Nick Fouquet is already available at the MODES store in Piazza Risorgimento, Milan.
