Goldwin's cutting-edge outerwear in the SS21 collection Innovative technical cuts and materials produced in The Goldwin Tech Lab in Toyama

A Japanese brand originally born in the ski world, Goldwin has soon become a cultural force in the field of Japanese and global techwear, with a series of apparel proposals that, since the brand's foray into the field of lifestyle clothing, have increasingly become a point of reference for all gorpcore enthusiasts. Today the brand presents its new SS21 collection, whose garments were produced and tested in the Goldwin Tech Lab in Toyama and which are now portrayed in a lookbook that captures the natural movements of the body, showing the versatility and fit of the garments.

The protagonists of the techwear proposal of the collection are the materials: the Pertex® Shield Air, an innovative and highly breathable fabric; GORE-TEX PACLITE® and recycled polyester. One of the best garments produced with these materials is the Element Jacket, the most versatile outdoor shell Goldwin has ever created, tested at Goldwin Tech Lab to ensure the highest levels of breathability, water resistance and moisture protection, and the Mount Dwellers Jacket, with a 2.5-layer construction to prevent the fabric from sticking to the skin; or the Compact Jacket, part of the sports side of the collection, made of  PERTEX® QUANTUM ECO, an ecologically recycled polyester. The lifestyle section, on the other hand, has its highlight in the GORE-TEX PACLITE® Mac Coat, completely waterproof, soft, and breathable, that can be folded into itself and has a new internal anti-granite layer, but also the One Tuck Tapered Pants, in elastic twill, for years one of the signature pieces of the brand.

Goldwin's new SS21 collection is available online on the brand's official website and at selected retailers.
