UPDATE 12.03.2021: After months of leaks and rumours, Kim Jones has officially unveiled his latest collaboration with Nike. The British designer, creative director of Dior Homme and Fendi, has not only worked on a sneaker, but also on an apparel capsule. After revolutionizing the sneaker game with the collaboration of the decade, the Air Dior, Jones this time focused on the Air Max 95, one of Jones' favourite kicks. The upper of the new Air Max 95 draws inspiration from the details and materials used on other Nike silhouettes, from the Air Max 360 to the translucent inserts typical of the React Element 87 and the Zoom Fly SP, while a small Swoosh in full Nike Sportswear style is well visible in the front of the shoe. The sneaker has been declined in two colourways, the first "Volt" is a tribute to the Air Max 95 "Neon", and the second in the "Total Orange" nuance. Both sneakers are accompanied by an apparel capsule consisting of hoodies, T-shirts, jackets and pants, characterized by graphics, Swoosh and proposed in colours matching the sneakers.

The Kim Jones x Nike Air Max 95 "Total Orange" sneaker and the corresponding apparel capsule will be available worldwide on March 19 on Nike SNKRS. The "Volt" AM95 sneaker, with its apparel, will also be available from March 19 but only in the UK. Each shoe will cost $220, while the price of the apparel items has yet to be revealed.

4.12.2020: In recent weeks word got out about an alleged new collaboration between Nike and Dior to be released in 2021, probably a new Air Max 95. There are no confirms about these rumours, however, it seems like Kim Jones, creative director at Dior and Fendi, has already worked on a reinterpretation of the legendary Nike's silhouette. As announced a few days ago on Instagram, the British designer and Nike are back to work together two years later after the Air Max 360 Hi

As said, this time the protagonists of the collaboration are two colourways of the Nike Air Max 95. Both pairs are made with a dotted pattern on the grey upper, perforated by the texture. Another detail is on the eyelets, which are volt and orange to contrast the black basis of the tongue and to retake the colour of the Air bubbles on the sole. Then, even Nike's logo on the tongue is made with the same tones as the eyelets. Another gem on the sneakers is the sign of the designer on the left out of the back, which is white coloured, over to another swoosh on the left side of the toe - which is white.

There are no more details on the collaboration as it's not clear whether the sneakers will be released along with an apparel collection. Despite this, it seems like the Nike Air Max 95 x Kim Jones will be released in 2021.
