UPDATE 11.12.20: after the first photos revealed last week, Drake and Nike have now raised the curtain on the items that will make up the new capsule collection signed by the rapper for the Swoosh brand and entitled NOCTA. Playing from time to time on the harmony and contrast between two shades, Black and University Gold, the Toronto artist has created a cosy collection, which consists of puffer jackets, sweatpants, hoodies and socks, all enriched by the Nike logo. The collection's price list was also unveiled: NOCTA Puffer Jackets: $400 USD, NOCTA Hoodies: $120 USD, NOCTA Fleece Pants: $110 USD, NOCTA Crew Socks: $30 USD.

The first drop of the NOCTA collection will be released on Saturday 19th December on the Nike website.

3.12.20: A little over a week ago, with a mysterious teaser on his Instagram page, Drake hinted at what would be his next collaboration with Nike. The rapper and the sportswear giant thus meet again, after the success of the Laugh Now Cry Later video, shot inside Nike's global headquarters, and the sold out of the merch dedicated to the Certified Lover Boy album

The one announced a few hours ago is instead a real collection, probably continuous, that Drake will sign in the vast range of Nike's proposals. The line, entitled NOCTA, is a tribute to Drake's creative process, which takes place mainly at night, and draws inspiration from the fashion scenes of London, Toronto and Paris. Although very few images of the collection have been released, it seems that for the moment the proposal includes puffer jackets, hoodies and sweatpants in shades of black and yellow. The items are enriched by the Swoosh in black and the initials "CL", which once again refers to the Certified Lover Boy album.

Along with the announcement of the collection, a short essay written by Drake was also published in which the rapper tells how for him it is a "full circle moment": "I mean, growing up Nike was everything. It felt like every shoe I wanted, every athlete I liked, everything I owned was Nike. It didn’t mean anything unless it had a Swoosh." The new collection with Nike was designed with the ultimate goal of creating a uniform, an aesthetic in which millions of kids can appreciate.

The first NOCTA collection will be released on December 18th. Here you can follow all the updates on the release.
