The history of Stone Island in a new book With three essays and never-before-seen archival images

Stone Island is perhaps the most celebrated Italian cult brand ever. Even without organizing fashion shows and participating in fashion week with the other big names of Italian fashion, the brand founded by Massimo Osti enjoys a unique popularity that binds together both fashion fans like Drake and Travis Scott, as well as the underground culture of English hooligans. A rich and layered corporate and cultural history that can now be explored thanks to a new 300-page book called Stone Island: Storia published by Rizzoli New York.

Within the book, the story of Stone Island will be told through new unpublished images both recovered from the brand's archives, such as the exact classification of all Stone Island badges ever produced and shots of events and editorials, and an archive of photos that tells the culture surrounding the brand. The book will also have an introduction by Carlo Rivetti, the entrepreneur who made the success of the brand, and a premise of the journalist Angelo Flaccavento, while further essays inside bear the signature of Eugene Rabkin, Paul Gorman and Jian DeLeon.

The book Stone Island: History is already available on the brand's official website.
