The Salehe Bembury-designed New Balance inspired by the Antelope Canyon

After months of teasing, Salehe Bembury has finally revealed his New Balance 2002R releasing in October.

Inspired by Antelope Canyon in Arizona, the sneaker uses the earth tones to create a colour palette on the suede and mesh that makes the shoe one of a kind, while the midsole simulates the effect of the dirt after a walk in the American canyon. The side branding in blue, on the other hand, recalls the clouds that are part of the American landscapes dear to the designer, a lover of excursions and hiking. 

The collaboration will be available from October 23rd with a retail price of $150.
