Evan Mock is the face of Jimmy Choo x Timberland's new collaboration With a campaign shot in the desert by Cole Sprouse

Timberland's first Yellow Boot was introduced way back in 1973 by Sidney Swartz, the brand's current president. The boot was born as a functional and durable item, inspired by new England laborers and designed to withstand the winter conditions of New Hampshire – the opposite of what we might conceive of as fashion today. In the 1990s the Yellow Boot made its way into the wardrobes of some of the major hip-hop artists, becoming an iconic object, so much so that it spread all over the world and found itself at the center of numerous collaborations – the most recent was the one with Jimmy Choo, who gave a luxury twist to timberland's silhouette and presented it with a campaign shot by Cole Sprouse, starring Evan Mock and Kristen Noel Crawley.

The collection includes four different versions of the boot, including three unisex and one female. Two of these versions retain the color of the original and feature a collar decorated with gold glitter and Swarowski crystals. Another version, also with a glittery collar, is in total black, while a fourth limited edition version has an all-over Swarowski crystal decoration. The collection will also contribute to the Nature Needs Heroes project, which is committed to planting 50 million trees by 2025: Timberland will plant a tree for every pair of boots created during this collaboration.

The Jimmy Choo x Timberland collection will be available today at Jimmy Choo's boutiques and Jimmy Choo and Timberland  websites.
