Stone Island x Porter's Reflective Weave Ripstop Collection

After the first capsule released in February and composed of a duffel bag, a backpack and a pouch, Stone Island and Porter, the Japanese heritage brand specialized in luxury accessories, have returned to collaborate for the releases of a new capsule called STONE ISLAND/PORTER® CO-LAB REFLECTIVE WEAVE RIPSTOP-TC.

Once again, Porter's cutting-edge design has been combined with the advanced textile research in which Stone Island specializes in the creation of a backpack, a tote bag and a new model of a waist bag with reflective fabric.

What all three accessories, declined in the two Aqua and Black colourways, have in common is the innovative nylon and cotton ripstop fabric, whose fibres are woven with a highly reflective tape with thousands of glass microbeads embedded via a resin bath. The dyeing process also needed an ad hoc formulation to keep the colour vibrant without ruining the reflective surface of the fabric. The finishes are made of nylon, as well as the double patch that features the logos of both brands.
