The outerwear of Stone Island's new SS20 collection

Stone Island is now synonymous with technological innovation and the latest series of outerwear pieces presented by the brand for its SS20 collection includes very light, high-performance jackets and parkas with thermosaldate seams. All garments are made with a particular waterproof fabric consisting of a laminated matte nylon outer layer and a breathable membrane that in turn is protected by another layer of polyester for a total of three layers.
To make each piece of the collection special is the Dust Colour finish, obtained by depositing a patina of pigments on the finished garment that gives the fabric a particular three-dimensional effect. They complete their pocket look and the distinctive Stone Island patch. During the manufacturing process, a chemical was also applied to the tissue as a droole agent, making the garments even more water resistant.
The blousons and parkas from Stone Island's SS20 collection are already available online on the brand's official website and at Stone Island stores.
