The new SS20 collection by Filling Pieces Presented in an editorial inspired by the concept of family and shot in Senegal

Filling Pieces presents the new SS20 collection with an editorial set in Dakar, Senegal, home country of Dieylane Cisse, creative director of the brand. The images taken by Miftha Bahardeen tell the story of a matriarchal family, where bonds are based on based on spirit and mutual beliefs, rather than blood. In this fictitious family that challenges the status quo and stereotypes, each member has his own well-defined style: the "CEO Mother", the "Working Father", the "Rebel Cousin" and the "Preppy Brother".

The models, chosen by Cisse himself, wear the collection's garments inspired by Richard Linklater's movie BOYHOOD. Easy items such as hoodies, shorts, denim jackets and t-shirts printed with DNA and barbed wire graphics combine with more formal pieces such as blazers and matching pants decorated with a retro striped pattern.

The offer is completed by a selection of sneakers and the first pair of elegant shoes created by the Dutch brand. The formal shoe, surprisingly light, boasts features including distinctive, stainless steel snap buckle-fastener and sole plate, complete with FP branding.

The first drop of the collection is available on the Filling Pieces website from April 7th, with the second drop to follow later this month.
