Nike's shoebox becomes a bag

Among the many details that have created the iconography of a brand like Nike over the years, the shoebox is one of the most neglected. Yet the shoebox, in its being a trivial everyday object, has over the years become one of the most recognizable elements of the brand. That's why Nike has recently transformed its classic orange box decorated with swoosh into a sneaker-sized bag: the Shoebox Bag. The bag is already sold out on Nike's website but can be found online at retailers such as Slam Jam, Zalando and Atmos. 

The bag is a faithful replica of the classic Nike shoebox but made of polyester, equipped with holes for internal ventilation and a handle for easy transport. A detail dedicated to all sneaker lovers is the bottom of the box, which features the same writings and branding of Nike that would have a real shoebox with even all the Nike logos and the address of the European headquarters.

Nike's Shoebox Bag is sold out on the brand's official website but is available on retail sites such as Slam Jam, Zalando or Atmos.
