Bottega Veneta presents a 100% biodegradable boot A sustainable, unisex and colorful boot

Last Saturday, Bottega Veneta presented the FW20 collection during Milan Women's Fashion Week, which marched against the backdrop of a Renaissance-inspired scenography.

The classic intrecciato clutches are revisited: with very long fringes, neon colors, lines and geometric shapes. These elements are reproduced on the garments through the use of materials and details such as fringes, lace and woven nappa. Even the palette is enriched with neon colors, contrasting purple and red, and shades of ivory and cream.

Among the accessories of Daniel Lee collection, one of the most interesting is the boot made with a 100% biodegradable fabric: the silhouette is more chunky and voluminous than the traditional refined footwear of the Maison, and recalls the shape of the biker boots.

Worn on the catwalk by male and female models, therefore presented as a unisex item, the boot was presented in a wide range of colors, such as brown, yellow and neon pink, orange, cream, etc.
On the catwalk, they are also combined with some of the most iconic looks of the show: in the first look the sand-toned boots are worn with a woven vest combined with a turtleneck, and in the second, in neon pink, they decorate a long red sequined dress with deep neckline on the back.
