The inspirations from the catwalks

New York Fashion Week Women's FW20 Moodboard The inspirations from the catwalks

Over 70 collections in 5 days. And not a single really cool collection. Once again, this New York Fashion Week ended without leaving an impressive mark. The brands abandoning it are more and more, from Jeremy Scott to Telfar, from Ralph Lauren to Fenty, and we wonder if the event is still relevant. Maybe on an economic level, but on the creative side, there are few new ideas. Interesting, but certainly not revolutionary, the gothic inspiration of Anna Sui and Rodarte, who mention among their influences dark movies such as Blood and Black Lace by Mario Bava or the masterpiece by Coppola Bram Stoker's Dracula. Jean Michel Basquiat returns as a trendsetter for Coach, while Marc Jacobs reworks the 60s once again.
