For Mytheresa, leading online retailer in the new luxury industry, 2020 starts with an exclusive collaboration with the Italian brand Prada.
Mytheresa.com comes to life in 2006 as an online extension of the boutique Theresa in Monaco, Germany, and offers a selection of ready-to-wear, sneakers, bags and accessories of prestigious fashion brands.
The capsule takes inspiration from the menswear aesthetics of the early 2000s of Prada Linea Rossa, the coveted line of the brand that became landmark of innovation and technology, and inspired by the practical clothing of the America's Cup.
The capsule "Mytheresa x Prada" includes 41 items that combine outerwear, sportswear and formalwear in a color palette that varies from red, pink and turquoise till the shades of khaki, burgundy and tones of black, and in the technical fabrics like nylon and stretch poplin.
Among the collection few pieces stand out, like the colorful tie-dye full looks and the "America's Cup" sneakers in three classic colorways, inspired by the iconic silhouette realized in 1996 as a yachting shoe and now symbol of the aesthetics of the brand.
